Gib, many people of knowledge feel the global warming could end up being catastrophic.

Look at what happened in the permian age (290 million years ago?). Temperature I think, only rose 5 degrees at first and then as the prresent theory goes, frozen methane melted and cause another rise of 5 degress.

95% of all life on earth perished.
