I hope Cheney doesn't resign. I want him grilled under oath and I don't want Dems to let him go just because he's resigning. I consider Cheney the real heart of darkness in this administration, along with Rove on the political side and Delay on the congressional side. Those three are the real axis of evil in terms of having hurting this country, our military, our government corruption and our damaged democracy. The people who really want Cheney to resign are the Republicans whgo are thinking ahead. Cheney is a huge albatross for them.
