Bolton may not be as bad as some people feared, but he is not a diplomat, he is a "hammer". I can guarantee you dems and moderate repubs will not let this guy continue at the UN. Remember, he wasn't even confirmable with Frist senate, so he sure as hell won't be now.

Bolton sends the wrong message - arrogance, 'with us or against us', unilateralism. Hopefully, Bush sees that he needs to change that image of his administration. We'll see.

Bill, you listen to too much Hannity-Limbaugh. Bolton is not liked or approved of at all. He has merely been tolerated because people didn't have a choice. Now we have a choice, and the obvious best option is to replace him with someone who actually cares about diplomacy and the UN's importance in the world.
