The economy is doing pretty ok all around. Things might not be great for the poor, but that's what being poor means. Could things be better sure, but overall the economy is doing well. If you think its only the poor, you are mistaken. The fight against Islamofacist terrorists is no joke. No one said its a joke. However, the way its being handled is nearly a joke. People are made over pork and corruption, that's why I said it had an effect, but its effect was smaller than Iraq's. You underestimate how much that corruption influenced people. In general there is a perception that things are not working; that the only way to stop the free-for-all in DC was to get the Dems in power.
