Yes, I would bet on Cheney resigning before indictment, or before a serious investigation he knows will lead to indictment. All Cheney has to do to get indicted is to be sworn in then asked a few questions. He will have no choice but to perjur himself because the man is guilty. But I were the Dem leadership I wouldn't even let him off if he resigned. I'd want proof. Bush is going to pardon him anyway, but at least he, Libby and Delay get indicted, along with others.
