The Democrats wont have Bush to blame for long. All the ethanol and green issues wont make one bit of difference if the Persian Gulf region cannot maintain present oil production.

If you would like to have a conversation about all this, we could start with some numbers. What is the present level of oil production from Iraq that goes into the international economy? Where does that oil go, that is which countries? What proportion of the oil going into Europe and/or the US comes from present Iraq oil production?

Also, just for starters, it might be interesting to compare those numbers with ones in some relevant time frame before Bush elected to invade/occupy Iraq.
