If we're still in Iraq then, McCain will have no chance. He's for INCREASING the troops we have there, and has supported Bush's Iraqnam every step of the way.

McCain needs to explore why he played footsie with Ted Kennedy, and stabbed Pres Bush in the back so many times in the runup to Tuesday's election. Has Hayworth gained votes in the recount?

Notice the GOP loss is forcing the Iraqis to deal with their problems. Just as democrats had predicted. Now if this can continue, and we pull back carefully, maybe some kind of stability can be reached. If not, then it's chaos either way. "Victory" is one thing that's off the table. It's impossible now. The best we can do is some kind of lesser of two evils.
