U.S. criticizes U.N. Rights Council By JUSTIN BERGMAN

UNITED NATIONS - The United States sharply criticized the new U.N. Human Rights Council on Friday, calling it a "disappointment" and saying it has failed to address serious violations in its first few months of operation — particularly in Sudan's Darfur region.

Sudan responded with a harsh condemnation of the U.S. human rights record and said Washington had no right to judge the effectiveness of the U.N. agency

See what happens when you lose the moral high ground? Anytime you try to call someone on their human rights violations, they point out how Bush forever tarnished the reputation of our nation.
