Exactly. Repubs are total hypocrites for attacking Kerry for his gaffe. By those standards, Bush should be impeached for treason now. Also by those standards, Bush should be held to his statement that we can never win the war on terror. And Cheney's apology for shooting the guy in the face should not be accepted, but he should be imprisoned for attempted murder. Let's face it, five days before the election, Rove knew they were in trouble and had no issues to run on. So they took whatever they could get that day, a Kerry gaffe. A lot of people are mad at Kerry for not "fighting back" against the smearvets. I agree a bit, but then again, McCain was beaten in 2000 by Rove's smear campaign calling his war heroics a "lie" and him a "traitor and coward". They even called him a homosexual and a black whore monger.
