Democrats have no scandals of any significance so give it up, pal. Democrats are about as clean as a party gets right now. Even Jefferson's crime is relatively petty and isolated. He acted on his own. And he's from New Orleans so what do you expect? That town has always been corrupt, whites, blacks, Dems and Repubs. Just something in the water down there. BTW, Texas is a pretty damn corrupt place too. And that's Bush-Cheney-Delay country. In Texas they steal hundreds of billions, not just tens of thousands. The religious right is also corrupt. Raklph Reed is in trouble for taking 1.5 million in bribes. That's 16 times what Jefferson took. And anyone in the know realizes that televangelists are usually hypocritical conmen.
