It's not a democracy I would want to live in. And on the 0 to 10 scale I mentioned, I imagine it is somewhere between 3 and 7. But I don't know much at all about Venezuela. I suppose I was being a bit naughty pretending your question meant something other than you did. In my mind, Venezuela is like the New Hebrides, or Peru, and many other places and countries which I don't know enough about to have an opinion about their democratic status. I believe Venezuela is some sort of democracy and I think the USA officially didn't like the democratic outcome. How's that? Near enough?

I know China is not a democracy.
