Saw "The Prestige" tonight. I quite liked it, as did my date. It's a good story, though I could see things coming. (To not spoil it for anyone, I'm going to phrase this next sentence carefully.) For example, when the one character was asked if he had anything to say, I said the word before he did.

The dark atmosphere of it all was great. I loved seeing David Bowie as Tesla.

Not a happy movie, though. Kind of depressing.

Right. I'm sorry. And I also forgot to mention Stalingrad and Das Boot. I probably forgot some others as well, but Saving Private Ryan I did not forget. The opening of that movie is brilliant, the rest of it is not.
