So you think a 700 mile fence will solve the problem? If so, guess what, Bush is not for it. He authorized it only as a technicality, but the money's not there. Nothing's happening on the fence.

And what about the Canadian border? Or our coastlines? DOn't forget them. Mexicans aren't the only illegal immigrants. Or are they the only ones you care about?

"Official English" is one of those real non-issues. Who cares? How about teaching American kids foreign languages too? The more languages people know the better off they are in the work force.
