I remember during my first year in college when a fairly big guy started picking a fight with an average size guy. Tossed a punch at the smaller guy which was a bad mistake. The smaller guy was the title holder of the middle weight division of the Golden Gloves.

Go and check it out for yourself first. I know one thing. If I had young children today, I would certainly do it. Too many weird things are happening out there, no matter how careful we are. Both our son, and his son, loved going...It was a bonding time for both, good exercise, and nothing at all like boxing or wrestling, which I wouldn't have liked. This son was a County Champ in wrestling in HS, but I couldn't bring myself to go to see matches until the last few months...It was like going to a place, and holding your breath for the entire time of the match. I was much happier when he was the center of the Varsity HS football team, and his older brother was the running back. Both of them were quick, fast, and even if football is more dangerous, it seemed less so than wrestling.
