It looks like Bush is gonna cave in to the Dems about a minimum wage increase. The poor should appreciate the Dems.

Some Hispanics are rightwing refuges from their original countries. Like the Miami Cubans and those who fled various coups. There are also a good number of evangelical Hispanics, some who hate drugs and sex so much they will vote GOP against their own self-interests. There are also some rich greedy Huspanics. Add them up and it's about 25%.

"I know intelligent Hispanics who shake their heads when they hear their native brothers are voting for the GOP. Kind a like the Log Cabin Republicans..........hard to understand! Why would they hate themselves that much?" I like to think that I am an intelligent hispanic, but maybe I have been fooling myself. It is sad to think that if I voted for any party other than the democratic party, I must hate myself, and am the equivilent of a self-hating gay. One learns all sorts of thing about oneself on these boards. For the record I have no "native brothers," I am not part of a fucking tribe, I am not part of another fucking race.
