I think George Bush should be right on the phone to the Democrats, and ask them for their advice on how to deal with the situation, and tell them he is leaving the decision to them and could they have it announced in the Press Monday morning, right after they tell him what it will be.

pause long enough to consider a simple question: Why are
the terrorists so happy that they won?


And the GOP might ask itself.....if the insurgants are so happy they won, why are they still killing each other? Look, you all have proven to be some of the most inept people in the last hundred years. Why do you keep making judgements when you should be listening and learning?

BAGHDAD: A suicide bomber killed 35 people Sunday at an Iraqi police recruiting center in Baghdad in the latest attack undermining U.S. and Iraqi government efforts to bolster the country's security forces.

Interior Ministry officials said 58 people were wounded in the attack, which occurred when a bomber wearing a vest with explosives attached to it walked into the recruiting center for police commandos and blew himself up among a crowd of young men.

The attack, the bloodiest in months targeting recruits, came as President George W. Bush's top generals were preparing recommendations for a shift in strategy following a defeat for his Republicans in congressional elections last Tuesday.
