It's primarily a civil war now. My guess is that that Green Zone isn't all that relevant compared to the risk of trying to shell it. Only a guess though.

I'd like to know that too. My guess is that the Greenies fight back harder. But it could be that the locals see each other as the enemy and the US as just a foreign power from a long ways away that is going to disappear soon enough.

P.S. When are the whatchamacallits going to come back? You know, the cockroaches, the uh, what is that word again, the "morons"? As I get older it's harder for me to think of words sometimes. Oh, it's the "neocons", when are they going to come back to the thread? I want to hear them rant about how well their glorious war is going.
