Hi Malyshek ....

forgive me for this post ....
and I am NOT trying to be a smart-ass ....

but lets be careful ....

50,000 folks a year, THATS FIFTY-THOUSAND ....

have bleeding stomachs (or worse) due to aspirin
because they take it for various arthritis thingie
things .... and take aspirin everyday ....

and some of them die .....

don't get me wrong - aspirin is awesome ....

but there ARE negative consequences related to it
(and the stomach) if taken continually over time ...

I am NOT current with current studies and findings
on this subject .....

However, 10 years ago I owned a company called biomatrix
(and as a consequence was fairly well read on
this topic)

they were the guys who invented the chicken-goo stuff
that is now needled into people's knees when they
have osteo-A ....

one of the arguments presented to the FDA in support
of the (at the time) novel approach was the whole
aspirin issue .....

If things have changed ... GREAT ... then I am wrong.

but any person considering taking aspirin everyday
should do some googling ... and NOT relie on their
doctor ....

my point being .... if the doctors were doing their
job we would NOT have 50,000 people in the hospital
a year because of this bleeding problem ....

regards,
John McCarthy

Both for prevention of imminent heart attack, and for maintenance of blood thinness so to speak aspirin is advised. Enterically coated aspirin, such as novasen, or baby aspirin, used chronically, or non coated bufferin or aspirin when heart attack threatens, is proven medically to have high efficacy. Non coated aspirin may be the single best life saving drug to take when thrombotic stroke, or heart attack threatens "at the time". Carry it with you if you are in the high risk category. Learn the symptoms. Heart attacks are not always accompanied by chest pain. It is hard sometimes to tell them from stroke. Predominant weakness, pallor, palpitations, feeling of doom, racing heart (not always that fast but stronger), dry mouth, nausea, high blood pressure all may be symptoms of silent HA or stroke even without pain or fainting dead away. Dizziness may or may not be noticed.

However if the threat of bleeding stroke predominates, aspirin may be contraindicated. That is my opinion and I have to research it more. It may be that what causes bleeding stroke may be lessened by Aspirin, as tiny blood vessels that burst, may burst due to clotting blood. On the other hand blood that does not clot well, will exacerbate the condition once it does happen. The best way to avoid this is to take plenty of inositol hexanicotinate, bioflavonoids, Vitamin C, B12, selenium, and l-arginine. All these substances variously improve peripheral vascular integrity, (B3 or IH and bioflavoniods) and prevent platelet aggregation, (aspirin, l-arginine) and make platelets more supple and lubricated, (B12). Selenium, vitamin E, and Vitamin C restore collagen, and promote health of the endothelium which causes plaque to break off. Arterial spasm is reduced by vitamin C and the bioflavonoids.

What you want to do when stroke or heart attacks threatens is reduce blood pressure fast. You may be panicked but relaxation is strongly advised even to the point of taking narcotic sedatives such as diazepam. Stress or panic aggravates all stroke and CVD condidtions. Deep breathing and positive outlook have to be maintained. They say do not take angiotensin inhibitors at this point to reduce blood pressure as being hypotensive may be contraindicated, but I am not sure it always applies. Seek medical advice on these points.

Cayenne tea, aspirin, sedatives, turmeric, and angiotensin inhibitors may relieve transient episodes that are related to hpb or other CVD causes. Consult a physician. The effect of the cayenne is that it kills pain and relaxes the system. It may have efficacy in other areas. Massive doses of vitamin C would not hurt at this point, as HA is related to inflammatory conditions.

Other substances that thin blood or allow its passage effectively by medical test.

Unsweetened chocolate
Garlic
Onions
Apples and apple juice.
Tea, black of green.
L-arginine (also expands arteries)
Walnuts (prevents plaque, expands arteries.)
Fish oil -
celery (4 ounces a day reduces blood pressure, from phytosterols)
Soy milk and beans. expands arteries.

Anything with pro-anthocyanidins or catechins, such as maritime pine bark, chocolate, etc..

Also look at the anti histamines and anti inflammatories. C, E, turmeric, curcumin, cayenne, etc..
