No, my points are:

1) Rightwingers can see only black and white. If you're not for gross pollution, you be a tree hugger who wants to live in the woods. There is a sensible middle ground: use our resources responsibly.

2) Rightwingers all get their talking points from the same source, which probably all lead back to Rove. Al Gore's family owned a zinc mine, so their point is that there is a nearby polluting processing plant (unconnected to Gore) that is somehow Gore's fault. The reality is that Gore has been fighting these type of pollutors, unlike the rightwing politicians who embrace the polluting industries.

3) Rightwingers never check facts for themselves. The poster who responded to me insisted that the mine was still open, even though I gave him opportunity to do a minute of research and retract. Rightwingers can't research, and seemingly even reason, for themselves because they are so used to being fed talking points by the Rove machine.
