I see from the news today that administration folks are making veto threats over this.

(I can't see that ACTUALLY happening though. Bush handing the Dems a winning campaign issue for the '08 election --- so close to the '06 election setbacks. His Republicans in Congress would probably roast him alive. More likely the veto threat is - like many of his others - merely posturing, and he will try to 'slow-walk' the issue, or mold the actual language to something he can claim is a 'win-win'.)

Public support seems far too high to bottle this one up forever though.
