Sound like very bright people. Smart enough to prosper despite drug use. Why do you think so many other people have more negative experiences? I've known some dopers but most were pretty bigtime losers, school dropouts, leeches on their families, difficulty holding jobs, into destructive behavior - including crime, abandoned children - that damaged both themselves and their kids and their relatives. Very different from your family.
