"the next q next y" line finally is catching up with them/us. Once we thought double digit then 7, 5 and 3. now just going back to high 1 one will be a blessing. That is a reality check we cant escape. I wish I had something good to say but I dont. then again there is "NEXT YEAR".

Andre, FYI, I changed my service from Covad to QWEST today at a net savings of $34 per month. I was paying Covad $30 a month and AOL another $26. I now am paying a flat $22 per month which includes AOL. The only other cost will be the purchase of a modem, which will cost around $50-$60. It appears to me that Covad will continue to be squeezed hard by the big boys that offer similar deals until they are toast. Just my two cents worth. As for their equipment/software/support, it is what it is.
