"read the Bell Curve"

Have.

The assertion that 'intelligence' has a large heritable component is undisputed... but the statistically-based follow-on 'conclusions' that the authors were able to tweak out a 'racial' component of 'intelligence' has been utterly destroyed.

Not only was 'race' a yardstick they were unable to define... but so was 'intelligence'... and their statistical methodologies whereby they claimed to have tweaked out a small 'racial relationship' to 'intelligence' foundered on some pretty stupid flaws in their statistical methodologies.

In summary: only racists believe such a thing has been established.

Scientists (while allowing that most everything is possible) have not yet produced scientific support for any such claim. (In short: the claimed 'racial differences' alleged to have been 'discovered' in the data on 'intelligence' were SO MINUTE as to lie well within all statistical margin of error, measuring error, and to be absolutely DWARFED by quantifiable factors such as nutrition, education, upbringing, etc., etc.)

In short: 'racial' classifications themselves are essentially scientifically ridiculous with respect to humans... as all modern humans went though a massive genetic narrowing 'extinction level event' in recent pre-history that wiped out 99% of the species... and left the survivors extremely closely related genetically.

For one example of this: the odds now are that any two individuals, randomly selected from the Continent of Africa, will differ *more* genetically from each other... then either of them would differ genetically from an individual selected from another part of the world.

So, SKIN COLOR is among the most WORTHLESS predictors of genetic differences.
