Your point escapes me. Mine is money will help efforts to improve the situation in Iraq.

My point is obvious...money is fine, but largely irrelevant to help solve the Iraqi problem. We've spent a ton of it already and look where we are.

How much? Billions have been spent and lost in that country. Its time to let them duke it out. If they want to fight over the oil instead of sharing it, so be it.
