Real Christians do not support the far right agenda. My family is very involved in the traditional church. I know a lot about it. I grew up meeting hundreds of Christian Americans. They were all good people who didn;'t hate anyone, didn't want to stick it to the poor, didn't want to start wars, didn't want to give free rein to polluters and corporate crooks. Also, none of them were hanging out with gay prosituites, etc. So none of them were hypocrites. The majority of Christians in America are good honest moderate, tolerant and liberal people. And now, post-Haggard and Foley, a lot of the previously brainwashed evangelicals will be discovering they've been lied to all along, and that they should be politically loyal to any one party, politician or ideology.
