Bolton is a negative symbol. He must go. And he will go.
If he somehow survives on the job, he will be on a very tight leash and watched carefully. His former anti-UN ideology is wrong for the US's needs, to end the war and start repairing the damage neocons have done to our foreign policy and military.

The time of arrogance has passed. If the US truly wants to reform the UN, it must garner support of other nations. Bolton ain't the guy for that job.
