I'd need a link for that one. Contraceptives are a different issue. That is a pretty pragmatic issue. To expect people to stop having sex just because they can't afford a child at that moment isn't even vaguely realistic.

Tench, do you really believe that divorced people don't have recreational sex? Do you think people SHOULDN'T have recreational sex? If you do, you're a fool. Recreational sex, which people's natures lead them to desire, leads to unwanted children without contraceptives or abortions. Some of us out here beleive even JEEZUZ had recreational sex! I was taught that whenever it says Jeezuz "knew" a woman in the Bible, that is synonymous with Jeezuz screwing that woman (cleaned up by later prudish translators). Why wouldn't God, taking human form, want to experience ALL of humanity, especially the animal JOY of sex? Jeezuz probably had TONS of groupies..

Since I'm not for killing babies just to reduce the number of mouths we have to feed, I propose that we not support the promiscuous behavior that leads to said "unwanted children." Yes, all high school freshman should be required to have sex with an instructor (hopefully only aged about 18 or 19 or so) while the male party wears a condom. Condoms should be freely given out in school. Oral sex should be recommended as a way to avoid pregnancy in 7th and 8th grade. I agree with you completely on this one!
