One of my faves: Medical providers must not deny treatment based on height or weight. They also shouldn't make weight loss efforts a condition of medical treatment. And they should respect a patient's choice not to discuss weight loss! How cool is that!?! Very cool. Cooler than you would believe (<: I have a lot of friends who were injured moving fat people around hospital beds. Nobody has written a paper on the effects of second hand fat, but it is there. What can you say about a patient when you have to call 4 big guys from maintenance to move him. I know nurses smaller than some patient's legs.
