Yes, his Sydney Opera House was built in the '60s.
The original construction called for a structure consisting of ellipsoids cutting into each others, static problems of which was at the time not solved.
After more than 2 years, and while the construction was prematurely and against the protests of Utzon on its way, finally Arup & Sons in London concluded a solution could not be found.
The original structure was abandoned and replaced by a similar structure consisting of multiple spheres in lieu of the ellipsoids.

All while the cost of the house sky rocketed.

As a student I was actually involved with doing the construction drawings back in the 60s.
