ESPECIALLY those where English is a second language. More reading, more resources, more education, leads to a better chance at succeeding in a multicultural society.

Of course, the initial tutorials can be in any language necessary.


Do you know what 70% of my coursework is? Getting students motivated to learn. When I was a kid, I really liked going to school and learning. I thought most people were that way. I am finding out that most people do not want to learn.

To go back to your problem, I think there are some poor people who are motivated enough to get a pc and learn it. However, I think they are limited in numbers and just one aspect of the effort needed to get people out of poverty.
