The MAIN GOAL for the Dems in 2006 was to win control of Congress and to take back our democracy...Mission accomplished. This was a close call. If Bush were smarter, more diligent, and half way competent we could have lost our democracy forever. To unravel all the harm this administration did would be awfully difficult. I do not want to put our country through impeachment or what have you, but we need historians to pass judgement on this administration and to ensure that nothing like this happens again.
