Good points. But, to be honest, it is used not as a means of differentiating, but as a means of derision. Frankly, I like Silicon Valley more, as we have fewer of the fringe elements who are so vocally intolerant of conservative points of view. I think SV is one of the true melting pots in the nation, at least as measured by the shear number of ethnic communities. But, I guess everyone has some local pride...believe me, you can have our traffic and local boneheaded leaders.
