the answer to all of your proposals is yes.

Israel, seeing its looming destruction, will indeed lash out with all their might.

Iran can bring that about, and Syria too, with too many missles hitting israel.

Keep in mind, that the US has more warships parked off those waters than ever before, and therefore, israel would not have to rely solely on their own arsenal, because the hezbollanians and iranians will not miss the the opportuntiy to kill americans and try to sink a few of their warships..

the US, will surely unleash their pent up fury over 9-11 and make all of those governments pay for their misdeeds throughtout the many years of US assistance.

Isra'El has created a nuclear weapons escalation in the Middle East. Iran has signed onto the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty), Isra'El has not and will not. Isra'El also refuses to allow U.N. inspectors into their nuclear facilities, particularly at Dimona.

If you were surrounded by folks who possess nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them, would you not want to protect yourself.

For the United States government to have a hypocritical, dual standard policy vis-a-vis Iran and its nuclear program, creates an unjust policy that is being seen by the rest of the world as more of America's bullying posture.

"Russia warned on Saturday against "any attempt to use the Security Council to promote the idea of regime change" in Iran. On the same day, the USS Eisenhower carrier strike force entered the Persian Gulf, joining two other carrier groups already steaming off the Iranian coast. Two paraphrases of William Shakespeare occur to me: The Russian doth protest too much, and Frailty, thy name is Tehran."
