BDBTR, I'm a little disappointed too. I was looking forward to Slider's take, and to determining if he is really considering getting back on the gold bull. I will give Slider credit, in that two things presented on this thread have given me a lot to think about. Irrespective of if I agree with Slider about POG or not, these ideas were very valuable to me. While we wait, I have a question for the thread. Assuming that there is a desire by the Fed/Paulson machine to save/support housing, what would you do if you were them to save it? If you disagree with this premise, then state that and why. If you agree, pretend you are Blackhawk Ben and give me your game plan for 07. The answers might influence something I've been thinking about, but it is not yet a complete thought and I fear public laughter and ridicule. GT TH
