I have read some articles recently that not all extra virgin is extra virgin. I buy most of my olive oil at the SF Farmer's Market. There's a brand there my daughter just loves- and since she likes to eat it on bread, it's important to buy her a tasty one. (I think it's called Frog Hollow, but I'd have to go downstairs to verify that. We've loved the organic, the lemon and herb, and a couple of other varieties I don't remember now. The oils range from green tasting, to very smooth and mellow.)
