RMF, I agree with your statements...

For the lack of an industrial based economy or for that matter any economy that would provide meaningful employment to the average ME individual, we instead find a few hundred thousand pissed off, disgruntled, pessimistic, Jihadist's all hell bent on destroying anything and everything in their sight.

These guys aren't sitting around reading newspapers and computer screens. They're sitting around cleaning their guns and packing their next car bomb.

Oh.. and I guess that's why we only hear Al Qai'da messages being put out on the internet every week or so, rather than every day..

RMF. Ayyub Al-Masri is no fool. He's actually a pretty intelligent guy who understands the power and necessity of propaganda.

And Al Qaida has a very strong media effort on-going that is aimed at spreading their message. That's how they find the "grooms" they need to drive those car bombs.

Go out and do a search for Al Qaida (Qaeda) websites.
