Re: "I hold onto what I said; the truth"

If the truth is that CNN scored a coup over Fox by having Harold Ford on their air, when in fact Fox had Harold Ford on THEIR air indeed, you go ahead and stand by that without acknowledgment of the truth, and therefore the failure of your writings on the matter. You are welcome to it. Hold on tight if you must, but you grip false and fleeting delusion.

If your "truth" is that dying soldiers between the ages of 18-24 "are" poorly educated, as you've insisted, you go ahead and stand by that without acknowledgment of the inanity of your argument, nor of your inability to back it up.

You are welcome to believe as you will, but you will hear justifiable wrath from others (in this case no doubt, MANY others), just like the rest of us. No brighter than Kerry, you'll receive wrath for the same reason even Democrats backed away from his idiocy and even feel he is now absolute toast as a candidate. Yes, I guess you voted for Kerry, and aside from that I do blame you for your very real blunders.

P.S. Your seeming belief that the President is the arbiter of opportunity for the youth of today is as inane and indicative of your socialist mentality as anything could be. I think you wish a better idiot socialist than Bush were President (aka, a Democrat), because you imagine Presidents not only DO delineate opportunity for youth (yes, even with this all volunteer military we have as part of the equation), but that they should; neither could be further from the truth. Bush happens to preside over a land of vast opportunity other than voluntary military service (and not of his essential creation by any means).

P.P. S.S. I guess it's too much to suggest again that you might acknowledge that 18-24 year old soldiers are known be brighter than "kids" the same ages in the general population who remained civilians. Your failure in ALL of this (per this post) marks your dishonesty of thinking, boldly for all to see.
