"Last night heard a great rave by a Jewish Rabbi"

Is there another kind?

Now I wish that I had taken more religion courses. It is interesting when it follows history and intertwines historical events with the influence of the various religions.

If you want to get a more objective view of the evolution of religion, take an Art History course at your local university. If the professor is true to the material, you will see the entire religious evolution and control mechanisms played out in the art of the days. I took this course as an elective in my university days....although it had absolutely nothing to do with my major, it was probably the most important course I ever attended, as it altered my religious paradigm entirely. I would agree that it is not the belief in God or the supernatural, but rather, organized religion, that is at the root of most conflict even in our modern age.

There's a great book called,"A Letter to a Christian Nation". It's on Amazon or you can find it at Barnes and Noble. the book is only about 9 bucks and it's quite short..............amazingly intelligent talk about religion.

I will try to post more later..............I am at work now.

I do hear ya on religion..........crazy stuff for the most part.
