I think they'll set the bar for "rich" lower enough to capture the upper middle class at least. Wouldn't surprise me if they lower the increase to those making $75k or so.

Of course those nice folks in Congress don't quite pay what we have to, do they now, so those multi-millionaires will not be affected. Does anyone else see the hypocrisy of the dems calling ANYONE "rich?"

I don't think that these additional taxes (actually, a restoration of previous taxes) on the wealthy will change their investment style one iota. They already invest most of their stuff in long term investments, anyway, and already try to minimize their tax burden.
