Yep, gem, more of the same. I remember the last time another Democrat made the same promise as Pelosi, to "have the most ethical administration in history." That was Billy Boy Clinton. Now that Pelosi is promising the same, I'm grabbing my hip boots and looking for high ground to get away from the slime that will surely ensue. The "culture of corruption" definately exists, but it isn't just the Republicans -- it's Congress as a whole. And, it is so ingrained in the system that only massive surgery can hope to get rid of most of it. It is built into the rules of the two houses of Congress, and their world revolves about it.
