Fact: Republicans blocked the investigation into Gannon.

Fact: On November 7th, the American people voted for moving forward on many issues. The issues that were high on the voter's minds are corruption and accountability.

Personally I do not believe that the two are mutually exclusive. We need to both move forward on fixing the stuff that Bushco has screwed up, and we also need to investigate folk's roles in the screw ups. There appears to have been some major lapses in judgement, the least of which is allowing a gay prostitute into the WH on 200 day passes.

The GOP congress failed to oversee the executive branch, and its own members for six years. Therefore there is a large backlog of un-investigated allegations and crimes. Abramoff, Delay Libby, Ney and Cunningham may only be part of the larger problem. It's the grossest abuse of power we've ever seen in our lives.
