I also calculate return without the burden of the cash reserve to get an idea of what the ROI is. In this case it would calculate to about a 50% Return On (average) Capital At Risk (ROCAR). I'll calculate it later today and report.

The 23% gross is the total return excluding what the cash might have been earning during the period.

This is rather unusual for me to sell out of a stock position after just a year. More a personal experiment than a comment on SUNW or its prospects as an investment.
