I hope he has a full & speedy recovery. However, I don't see how any of the above is sufficient grounds to stifle folks from responding to the contents of Allen's posts. He was posting at a prolific rate right up until the moment decided to voluntarily stop. Within those posts were an incredible number liberal fictions asserted as fact. From what I can see, folks who replied to Allen since his voluntary departure have done so in a reality based, responsible manner. I know most of my replies needed a fair amount of time to assemble a thorough, credible response. Sometimes that means a reply may have to take a back seat to other priorities. However, now that we know of Allen's situation, I'll ask folks to keep that in mind & limit any future responses to rebuttals of specific issues or assertions he made.
