What?

Doesn't matter what organ or function you are talking about ('brain', pinkie toe, fin, bi-lateral symmetry, etc.)

I think you are confused about the process of evolution (changes to nuclear DNA, expressed over many generations and heritable), and individual adaptations, socialization, nutrition, education, etc.

So, I'm not at all sure what you are trying to ask.

If you try again --- and possibly drop the word 'evolution', which I don't think you really mean anyway --- then perhaps I can answer your question.

Something like 'are we, as individuals, affected by our environment? Is that it?
