"It is the rightwing which has been wrong. On a whole plethora of issues. Even the Bush economy, while modestly booming, is highly addicted to deficit spending and huge borrowing from foreign countries. Therefore it is highly unsustainable.

On every other issue, I defy you to name one Bushies have been right on, and "liberals" have been wrong on.

The evidence is the CLinton era vs. the Bush era. Or the Bush policies now vs. those of the democratic congress.

And btw, the word "liberal" is over-used and out-dated. The accurate term would be centrist-progressives, because that's exactly what the Dem party is now and has been since the 90's. Clinton was no big liberal. Neither are a majority of democratic leaders. However those in charge of the GOP have definitely steered things pretty far to the right, though apparently not far enough for some people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, who now state that the GOP failures are due to not being extreme enough. Balderdash. The reason for GOP failures has been a disconnect from reality, believing in ideological myths rather than the grey zone of the real world."
