I wonder if there isn't some class envy/warfare wrapped up in the whole pot thing: druglibrary.org Turns out pot smokers are more affluent, and more likely to be upper or middle class, urban, and college educated.

Worked with addicts and agree (about pot).... The only and I emphasis only argument for not using pot was it might.. MIGHT lead to taking more deleterious drugs...? Jury still out on that as I had students to whom this never happened. Crack,methodone and Heroin are much more dangerous and having lost a distant relative to alcohol and methadone combo... this past Spring I can see that is a lethal combo.. Now Anna Marie Smith's son was using methadone too. We used it sparingly in the RX program that I as part of... As a way to break away from unhealthier drugs...
