Except that Israel has nuclear weapons and can reduce Iran's population a great deal. How would Iran hit Israel in a big way?

<Important to remember that Iran can hit back at Israel in a big way.

And israel has very low tolerance for casualties.

The idea of Israel by itself attacking Iran has little credibility.

Iran has threatened to eliminate Israel and Jews. That sounds like sufficient intention, and follows decades of such threats and attempts at Jewish genocide which continue constantly, that Israel should be expected to do anything to keep themselves alive. I don't understand why they would limit themselves to throwing stones or using fixed bayonets.
