It is you who have said we'll have to stand by and watch. The rest of your post didn't alter that. You suggest we should do something smart. Standing by and watching isn't smart, obviously. I see no proposal from you to counter the realization of our shared fears. So what's smart? Do you really feel we must stand by and watch it all happen? If not, what would you have us do to prevent our fears from coming true? Is your answer merely "anything but fight back militarily?" Dan B.
