Alan Mulally (Ford CEO): "Someone asked whether we are interested in a bailout. And we said absolutely not because we really believe that the action starts with us -- taking the actions that create a more competitive business going forward. The things that we focused on today is what do we need to do as a partnership around the world to further the competiveness of this great important industry." Me: You know these guys are up against a wall when they are all lovey dovey like this and talking about partnerships. Hope they get some relevant FFVs on the market soon. I don't think Japan will be standing still when it comes to FFVs either. SC
