Hoe exactly would you explain that the the Kurdish and Shi'ite victims of Saddam? Can we as a people stand by an calmly and without protest allow Muslims to continue to commit Genocide in Africa Indonesia and other places simply to maintain our texture of living well?"

There are several contradictions in this premise.

1) The statement requires no particular explanation for one group that would be different for others.

Saddam was a saddistic, oppressive, and brutal dictator. Where this conduct is revealed, it is to be condemned by any decent person of conscience.

2) The tendency to generalize the term 'All Muslims' under the umbrella of this conduct grants permission by your violent cultists here to commit your own brand of genocide, whether it be violent or by social oppression.

3) Any explanation to Kurds or Shi'ites does not absolve them from their own acts of attrocity.

4) That statement, taken in the context of the others that were submitted in its association does not suggest idleness in the presence of genocidal brutality.

5) Your understanding of 'living well' may not be aligned with my own.

As awareness of life in the Universe is founded upon conscious meaning applied to matter, the age old natural question arises… ‘So What?’ What purpose does human consciousness serve, if not to allow human will to liberate self from the grosser endeavors of human existence?

Liberation is not a matter of defeating your opposition; it is a matter of locating common purpose that binds the good in all of us.

The history of the world is one of liberating human beings from one form of powerful corruption to another. If you have something to lose, you are not free to choose.
